Fruit + Chocolate + Peanut Butter Yogurt Bowl

Call it breakfast, call it dessert, call it what you want. Satisfy your sweet tooth with this healthy alternative.



LET'S CHAT


The story behind this beauty is one of exhaustion and a crazy sweet tooth! I had hiked Mount Timpanogos (18 miler to summit, plus we got lost like four times) at 3am to catch sunrise with some friends. When I got home at noon, I passed out for like three hours, which was a very good thing because I was super grumpy. When I woke up, I needed calories, quick energy, and something sweet. I used what I had in my fridge to create this beauty:)


INGREDIENTS (makes 1 serving)


1 cup vanilla greek yogurt (I used Chobani)

1 chocolate crisp Perfect protein bar

5 or 6 strawberries, diced

1/2 banana

1/4 cup raspberries

1 Tbs peanut butter drizzled on top (I highly recommend unsalted natural peanut butter with no added oils or sugar)


RECIPE


1. Scoop the yogurt into a bowl

2. Chop the Perfect bar into bite size cubes

3. Top with fruit and perfect bar

4. Add peanut butter (if you want to drizzle it, melt it a little bit)

5. Mix it all up

6. Enjoy :)
